ORQUESTA DE MALABARES - JUGGLING BRASS BAND
For the first time in Bulgaria PISTACATRO Companypresents its large-scale circus show “The Jugglers’ Orchestra” – The Juggling Brass Orchestra! This is one of the most original and entertaining contemporary circus performances in Spain, combining circus and classical music. Six jugglers and a 20-piece brass band create a spectacle for all ages with some of the most beloved classical tunes.
Contemporary circus is evolving and interacting with all areas of the performance world. The Jugglers Orchestra fills the gap between musical performances and the musicians’ places in the brass band – a concert where juggling balls are the dancers in an aerial ballet.
Clarinet, saxophones and trumpets paint a picture on which balls, mace and hoops express the feelings and emotions conveyed by the music and circus in the air. Gold brass instruments, big bass drums, cymbals, white shirts, uniforms and classics are combined with shorts, t-shirts, sunglasses, funk, blues and post-punk.
Yes, it’s all a tremendous comedy for the whole family that leaves a great taste of happiness. Classic, tradition and innovation are brought together in this ground-breaking project acclaimed in Europe and America.
