The urban environment – a circus playground

A Circus Playground is an open playground that offers the practice of circus disciplines in an accessible location 24/7. A new type of facility that provides children, youth, seniors and individuals with special needs access to circus disciplines such as balance, tightrope walking, aerial acrobatics, juggling, etc. Those activities stimulate the physical and cognitive skills immensely and develop the creative potentials of the practitioners. Following the basic principles and methodology of social circus, we are fully convinced of the enormous potential to create and develop this new type of open access facility in the central park areas of Sofia.
