Mini Art Fest presents:

CIRKOLUTION!

Why CIRKOLUTION!?

Mini Art Fest presents its 14th edition, and why 14? In 2014 was organized Mini Art Fest in Barcelona and in 2021 – Mini Art Fest 11½ “Christmas Fire Festival” in partnership with Georgi Iliev, Mayor of Slatina Municipality, Sofia. These publications remain out of sequential count.

Within these 15 years Mini Art Fest has presented over 400 Bulgarian and international artists and the professional focus of the festival is contemporary, social and street circus. Since 2019 Mini Art Foundation is an official member of Circostrada Network, the world’s largest network for contemporary circus and outdoor art. This membership enables a very fruitful exchange between the European circus and the Bulgarian scene. Our long term goal is to create a vibrant community of artists and organizations represented through an association for contemporary, social and street circus.

The 14th edition of Mini Art Fest is revolutionary for us, as the interest in this art is increasing, the festival presents Bulgarian contemporary circus artists and a high-level international program, reaches new audiences and pays attention to educational projects.

Our host Toplocentrala is an extremely well-equipped space, perfect for the needs of contemporary circus shows including halls and outdoor spaces. We are proud and grateful for this exceptional opportunity to work there, as it was a long sought-after location.

Thanks to the long-standing support of the National Culture Fund, specifically the Creation Programme, the festival received funding for its 14th edition.

The festival starts off with a new team, whose goal is to reach wide audiences and to mark contemporary circus as an attractive, provocative and personal art.
